How We Met
We met during the Water Festival (New Years Festival) in Laos. Cara was in the middle of a water pistol "drive by shooting" with her besties Steff and Steffen, when Ryan and his crew highjacked their pick-up truck. The hostile takeover quickly turned amicable and after this short run in, Ryan came to visit Cara in Germany during his Europe tour.
The Proposal
Worth the 10 year wait, Ryan picked the perfect time having both our families in one place for Christmas in Mexico. A fancy pre-Christmas dinner party at the Banyan Tree, turned into a surprise engagement for Cara. The perfect execution (with the most beautiful ring!) was topped off with a romantic boat ride and champagne to celebrate our future as a family.
